The project started in June 2010 - October 2010.

The people helped are...

49 new staff members signed up for the fitness suite - these staff joined at no cost and have had a full induction with the programme and a free month's membership. There were 4 referalls from Doctors where staff had high blood pressure and needed further assistance/medical clearance.

What they have said is...

Some feedback from the staff menbers that took part in the project were: 'I really enjoyed the experience and have taken up full gym membership as a result'. Another remarked: 'Fitness for free was fantastic! And really helped me get to grips with my fitness and weight loss - thank you so much for the opportunity!'


What's happened is...

Between the 49 people who used the gym during the free month, there were a total of 228 visits, and of those that joined the project, 11 people (23%), have continued to use the facility. 4 people have signed up to the yearly package. 8 people have currently signed up for the month of October.
